MILLY PEDS for all things Bicycle

Here at Milly Peds we promote and encourage cycling for all abilities. We aim to take as much from the waste stream to put back to good use, so saving on our carbon footprint, and enable others to be aware of the opportunities to recycle a very large number of bicycles thrown away every year.

In doing this we offer:

Cycle Training to National Standard Levels I to III, covering schools in Ceredigion, the local Council, Mencap and beyond. We also provide private sessions from 4 years of age to adult, for all abilities.

Electric Bicycle Sales & Repair supplying bicycles, tricycles (Powerbyke being one) and kits to fit to your existing bicycles.

BMX Chariots for fun or team building these BMX's with sidecars are a good head turner at any event. We have a total of six Chariots suitable for use from 5 years of age upwards. Excellent for those with balance problems or not that confident at cycling.

Dr Bike where free bicycle checks and minor repairs are carred out at events.

Environmental Workshops, Projects & Recycling repair and recycling workshops are carried out at both indoor and outdoor events, as individual or combined workshops, at a venue of your choosing. We endeavour to promote the recycling of all bicycle parts wherever possible (unless on grounds of safety) recycle normal bicycles, convert bicycles to electric bicycles and reuse electric bicycle parts from the waste stream for your existing electric bicycles.

Information Point covering employment opportunities, disability issues, female specific issues and adapting your bicycle to suit you - in fact anything cycle related.

Community Projects such as the recycling of old bicycles to create a tandem for operating a pump to bring water from a river to holding tanks for the use in polytunnels etc.

All staff are trained, CRB checked and relevant insurances are in place.
